New destination for Sunweb Group and Transavia: the Azores
From this summer, Transavia will open a new route to Ponta Delgada in the Azores together with Sunweb Group. Sunweb Group and Transavia discover this new destination together and strengthen their collaboration. The first flight will operate on April 24, 2022 and will take place weekly on Sundays.
The Azores, with its nine islands, are located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and are of unprecedented beauty. With a climate that is almost always mild and pleasant. The Azores are not yet very touristy and are therefore an ideal holiday destination for adventurers and nature lovers. Dutch people have a great need for a holiday and they want to discover beautiful and new destinations together with family and friends. The Azores fit in well with this.
