Transavia wins best Service award and scores 8.4
Last night, fourteen Dutch service providers were rewarded with a Best Service Award from Opiness, a consumer award determined solely by customer reviews. Transavia won in the Airlines category and received an 8.4 grade.
Convenience and speed are decisive
An analysis of 1,400 reviews from the winners shows that speed and the convenience offered by technology are of great importance to consumers. One fifth of the reviews mention things such as: an optimally functioning website, an app, chat or communication.
Wieke Vrielink, Lead Passenger Experience: “We are proud that customers rate our service so highly. We invest a lot in our characteristic friendly service on board and in our customer service. We respond via social media with a personal answer within an hour, so that the customer is really helped. The valuable feedback we receive from our customers via review sites such as Tripadvisor encourages us to improve our service level even further.”
Linda Schulte co-founder of Opiness.nl : “A good online platform, whether it is an app, a chat or social media, that allows you to easily get in touch with a company is essential and ensures that customers choose you and stay with you.”
The 2017 winners are: Allsecur, Bol.com, Ditzo, Holland America Line, Christusplein, Fuif.nl, Knab, Transavia, UnitedConsumers, Vliegtickets.nl XS4all, Picnic and Youfone. The winners score high marks by keeping their promises (32%), personal and expert service (18%) and the price (8%). However, they were distinctive in terms of providing speed and convenience (20%) through digital service and providing extras and surprises.
