Sunweb and Transavia seal collaboration with 'The Memory Maker'

Via Facebook, followers of Transavia and Sunweb were able to come up with the name of the transformed aircraft. More than 3,800 participants submitted a name and four participants were invited to the unveiling together with a guest. The creator of the final name, 'The Memory Maker', was presented with the grand prize during the unveiling: a fantastic holiday to Karpathos for two people.

Erik-Jan Gelink, commercial director of Transavia, kicked off the evening with a speech about the pleasant cooperation between the Sunweb Group and Transavia. Erik-Jan Gelink: “Just like Transavia, Sunweb has the ambition to continuously innovate so that we can create fantastic memories for our joint customers. The unveiling of the new stickers and name is a great moment to reflect on the good cooperation and confirms that we do business together and ensure innovation in the leisure travel industry.”

And this flight product has been contributing to the creation of unique holiday memories for many Sunweb customers for years.”

After the unveiling of the aircraft, the prize winners received a tour of the hangar and the aircraft from a pilot and purser. A unique look behind the scenes at Transavia.

The Memory Maker will fly from Schiphol to the most beautiful holiday destinations in Europe this entire summer. The first flight with air number HV1041 departs for Karpathos on April 19. The place where the creator of “The Memory Maker” will enjoy a wonderful holiday! The aircraft will also fly to more sunny destinations, including Crete, Faro and Corfu.
