Transavia adds three new destinations from Brussels Airport
Transavia will add three new destinations to its network from Brussels Airport next summer. These are Bari, Marrakech and Thessaloniki. In addition, you will soon be able to fly to Oslo from Eindhoven. From Amsterdam, the Albanian Tirana is an additional destination.
As of June 27, it is possible to fly from Brussels to Bari in Italy. We do this three times a week. As of June 28, flights to Marrakech in Morocco can also be flown three times a week. We will run Brussels-Thessaloniki in Greece twice a week from June 29. In addition, a number of existing destinations will be flown more often. For this purpose, Transavia will station a third aircraft in Brussels.
Transavia started flying from Brussels in the summer of 2022. The airline is noticing a growing demand for tickets for both sunny and winter destinations from the Belgian airport, also for Dutch passengers in the south. To meet the growing demand, three aircraft will fly from Brussels Airport from next summer.
Transavia is in Brussels for the long term. We are continuously building our route network, also by increasing our frequency. In this way we meet the needs of consumers in Belgium. We also plan to grow further in Brussels.
“Transavia has been very well received in Brussels. This resulted in full aircraft from day one with a so-called load factor of above 90 percent,” explains Marcel de Nooijer, CEO of Transavia. “To meet the growing demand, we will also fly various destinations from Brussels more often.”
The Eindhoven-Oslo route can be flown from February 29, 2024. It is not the first time that Transavia flies to the Norwegian capital. In addition, you can travel to Tirana from Amsterdam as of April 3. The capital of Albania was also previously a Transavia destination.
Tickets to all summer destinations 2024 can be booked from September 20.
