Transavia offers an extensive choice for sun lovers
Transavia summer tickets can be booked from today.
As of today, Transavia passengers can purchase tickets for the spring and summer period of 2018. Nearly 425,000 additional scheduled service seats are offered. The extra capacity will mainly be used to significantly increase the frequencies of the sun destinations of the current scheduled service network.
More sun destinations in 2018
The new destinations that Transavia launched last summer will be continued next summer. Belgrade, Ljubljana, Sofia, Tirana and Katowice can be reached at least three times a week with Transavia. In addition, the airline offers a very extensive and varied range of sun destinations in Europe in 2018. In addition to Faro and Girona, the Greek Islands such as Kos, Zakynthos and Crete are often served.
No fewer than eleven destinations are served from all Dutch home bases. Examples where the passenger can choose between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam The Hague, or Eindhoven Airport are Valencia, the Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca) and Lisbon. Destinations such as Malaga and Heraklion are even flown several times a day.
New routes in the region
The budget airline's growth in capacity is also reflected in the offering at its regional home bases in Eindhoven and Rotterdam. Transavia flies from Eindhoven to Seville, Tel Aviv and Marrakech for the first time in the summer. These three destinations have been offered from Eindhoven since the winter season 2017-2018 and have now been extended to year-round destinations.
Six new summer routes are offered from Rotterdam; Crete, Lisbon and Al Hoceima. Dubrovnik, Almeria and Palermo are moving from Amsterdam to Rotterdam.
With the new summer schedule, almost 80 destinations can be booked directly with Transavia from the Netherlands and more than 100 routes are offered. The summer schedule starts on April 3, 2018 and runs until October 31, 2018. The summer schedule to and from the Netherlands can be booked from today, Wednesday, September 20.
