Transavia publishes flight schedule for the autumn months
Transavia will announce the flight schedule for the autumn months this week. In which we fly to around 70 destinations in the months of September and October. During this period, we fly a different network than in previous years due to travel restrictions and declining customer demand. The frequency of flights to our destinations will be reduced. In addition, we are temporarily not flying to our destinations in Lebanon, Great Britain, Denmark and Sweden. Travel restrictions and the relaxation of measures were still too unclear for these destinations to provide certainty for the autumn period. The flight schedule for the summer of 2021 will be announced at the end of August and published on the website.
Fewer flights per destination
The frequency per destination is adjusted downwards because the market demand for flights is less high as a result of the corona crisis. In addition, we fly to fewer destinations than in other years due to the (changing) country restrictions.
Passengers whose flights have been canceled, but the destination is still being served, will be rebooked this week where possible to another flight date or time. They will receive a personal message about this. They can also opt for a refund or rebook their flight for a later time. Transavia emphasizes that any tightening of restrictions in countries due to the coronavirus could mean that adjustment of the flight schedule in the fall is a possibility. Passengers will then also be offered an alternative or can opt for a refund of the ticket amount.
Destinations that we will fly again in the fall
The website contains a complete overview of the destinations that are flown in both these summer months and the autumn period. The complete flight schedule is also available in Transavia's booking module. All flights can be booked here.
Summer 2021
The summer network will be announced earlier this year and published on the website, the aim is the end of August instead of the end of September. This way, passengers in possession of a voucher have more options for making a booking. More will also be known in August about the rebooking options for summer '21.
