Transavia takes delivery of sixth Airbus A321neo

Summary

Last night, Friday June 28, Transavia's sixth new Airbus A321neo landed at Schiphol. The aircraft has registration PH-YHB and brings the total number of aircraft in our fleet to fifty.

We expect two more Airbus A321neos at the end of this year and we will also start phasing out the Boeing 737. In the coming years, all Boeing 737s will be replaced by new Airbus aircraft.

The Airbus A320 family, including the chosen engine, reduces the so-called noise footprint by 50 percent; a clear difference in sound experience during both take-off and landing. Furthermore, the new Airbuses ensure a more than 15 percent reduction in CO2 emissions compared to the previous generation of aircraft.
