Transavia to Skopje for the first time
Transavia operated the first flight from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to its newest destination Skopje on Sunday, March 2.
The airline will fly to the capital of North Macedonia twice a week: on Thursdays and Sundays. The flight takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes and will be operated mostly with the new Airbus A321neo.
Skopje is the largest city in North Macedonia and has a rich history. The birthplace of, among others, 'Mother Teresa' (Nobel Peace Prize) is located on the Vardar River. This 'breaks' the historical, traditional part of the city with the modern part, full of western influences.
