Early October our foundation, the Peter Pan Holiday Club, organised a trip to the Spanish island of Mallorca for young people who have or have had cancer. The foundation is run entirely by volunteers who work at Transavia.
The week started at Schiphol, where the group enthusiastically boarded a Transavia flight to Palma de Mallorca. On the sunny island, an action-packed program awaited them: from snorkeling and a catamaran trip to canoeing and SUP racing in a picturesque bay. The traditional Peter Pan water polo match provided sporting rivalry, while climbing and ziplining in Santa Ponsa provided plenty of adrenaline.
In addition to the adventurous activities, there was plenty of time to relax by the water. A visit to the historic center of Palma, a day of shopping and enjoying the local cuisine completed the experience.
