Transavia will fly to the Alternative Eleven Cities Tour
Today Transavia announces 5 new flights to the Weissensee in Austria. The Alternative Eleven Cities Tour will be held there from January 24 to February 3. At the request of skating enthusiasts, Transavia facilitates transport to the popular tour.
The flights depart from Rotterdam The Hague Airport to Klagenfurt in Austria. Tickets can be booked from today via www.transavia.com from 29 euros (one way).
The Alternative Eleven Cities Tour was devised as an alternative to the Tour of Tours, as the Netherlands is not ice-secure enough. In 1989, founder Aart Koopmans organized the first Alternative Eleven Cities Tour on the ice-cold Weissensee. Every year, thousands of mainly Dutch skating enthusiasts go to the Weissensee to enjoy skating. Four tours will be held on Tuesday 24, Friday 27, Tuesday 31 January and Friday 3 February 2018 and a maximum of 1,500 skaters will participate.
