Valuable Neighbours Day Rotterdam The Hague Airport

Summary

On Wednesday 25 September, Rotterdam The Hague Airport organised a Neighbours Day. Transavia was present to connect with residents of our base airport, answer questions and share insights about aviation.

During the day, hundreds of children from the region enjoyed an adventurous program in which they discovered the world of aviation. They visited customs, were given a spectacular demonstration by the airport fire brigade and were able to step into the role of cabin attendant at Transavia to practice a flight safety demo.

In the evening, adult residents were given a look behind the scenes of the airport and were able to ask questions about topics such as noise pollution, sustainability and future developments, emphasising the importance of innovation in the aviation sector.

The Neighbours' Day was all about openness and connection with the environment, and Transavia had many valuable conversations with the residents. We hope to welcome the neighbours on board soon!
