Transavia 60 years
In 2025, Transavia will celebrate its 60th anniversary. On 21 October 1965, the official registration took place at the Chamber of Commerce in Haarlem. What started with a few planes and big ambitions has grown into the largest holiday airline in the Netherlands. In those sixty years, millions of passengers have flown to their holiday destination or visited family and friends abroad. Time has really flown by!
The anniversary year is themed around 'Time flies' . We look back at six decades of aviation history, from special moments to the speed at which aviation has changed. At the same time, we also look to the future, because Transavia continues to grow with the times.
One thing always remains the same: the mission to keep flying accessible and connect passengers with their favorite destinations, family and friends.
